Sept. 21st we celebrated International Peace Day with our Peace Pinwheels!

The second year with choice-based art at Edison!

We are excited about the opportunities for exploring art at Edison this year!  We have received several cameras, thanks to many donations from Edison families.  We are also asking for a few more cameras through a donorschoose request!  This opportunity will allow all students to explore the the concept of "Change Over the Course of Time" within the grade level curriculums.

The Original Works program is being offered this fall, just in time for holiday gift ideas!  Keep a lookout for the green bags in Thursday folders over the next weeks.  Orders will be due October 7, 2011.

If you have been hearing about the "sandbox" in the artroom, it is true!  Students have been learning about space through landscape and have enjoyed creating collaborative landscapes in the sand.
